Toutefois, l'élève d'Eric Testard devra redouter en priorité les candidatures de Coeur de Christal, qui fait preuve d'une belle régularité dans l'ensemble et de Caprio de Coudde, en forme à l'heure actuelle mais qui devra composer avec son numéro en dehors en première ligne. Cleyton d'Ecajeul, incontournable à ce niveau de compétition, Couguar Start, déferré des quatre pieds et Colonel Picci, récent lauréat d'un réclamer sur l'hippodrome de Laon, ne partent pas battus d'avance.
