Avec plusieurs parcours de remise en route dans les jambes, déferré des quatre pieds et confié à Yoann Lebourgeois, Hotot a beaucoup d'atout dans son jeu et semble pouvoir lutter pour les premières places. Toutefois, la partie n'est pas gagnée d'avance face à Hysis Venesi, performante pieds nus, ou le "dur à cuire" Hercule de Bea, qui reste sur une très bonne tentative à Strasbourg. Bien engagé au plafond des gains, Héros de Bonnefoi visera une "petite place", comme Harmonie Picarde, second atout de Laurent Verva et performante sur cette piste. Venant de renouer avec le succès au niveau inférieur, Hélios de Vandel tentera de jouer les trouble-fête.
